Supersports offers youth development opportunities in remote areas with the 10th “Let’s Donate! Give Your Shoes A New Life” Campaign

Supersports, Thailand’s leading sporting goods store under Central Retail, announced the success of the 10th “Let’s Donate! Give Your Shoes A New Life” campaign held in May. Supersports customers and the general public contributed by donating shoes and money to support the health and sports skills of youth and children. The campaign collected a total of 1,349,387 baht and more than 2,600 pairs of shoes.

The “Let’s Donate! Give Your Shoes A New Life” campaign, an ongoing project by Supersports, believes that “small actions can have a big impact.” This year, donations of sports shoes or a 100 baht contribution were accepted at all Supersports stores between 1-31 May 2023. Contributing customers received a discount of up to 1,000 baht towards the purchase of new sports shoes under the campaign.

Mr. Alexandre Hammel, President of CRC Sports Company Limited, said, “Supersports recognizes the importance of enhancing everyone’s health and well-being. The ‘Let’s Donate! Give Your Shoes A New Life’ campaign highlights Supersports’ mission, which has continued for 10 years and received increasingly greater support from our customers as well as the general public. We are very pleased that the donated shoes through this campaign have fulfilled the dreams of children and youth who want to improve their full potential and well-being. This also helps to promote active lifestyles and healthy living through exercise. Supersports hopes that all recipients make the most of their shoes and continue doing what they love, pursuing their dreams for a brighter future.”

Monetary donations to the “Let’s Donate! Give Your Shoes A New Life” campaign were forwarded to the “Million Gifts Million Smiles” project, represented by Mr. Pichai Chirathivat, Executive Director of Central Group, and Ms. Busaba Chirathivat, Executive Vice President for Corporate Communications, Central Group.

The donated sports shoes were given to children at the Border Patrol Police School in Ban Khlong Noi, Hua Hin District, Prachuap Khiri Khan province, through a school representative. The delivery was also attended by Ms. Suthasinee Supasirisin, Director of Sustainable Education Development, Central Group, Police Colonel Promwut Wuttiwiwatchai, Deputy Commander of Border Patrol Police Region 1, Asst.
