OR launches the 8th OR Seeding the Future ASEAN Camp 2024
Mr. Disathat Panyarachun, Chief Executive Officer of PTT Oil and Retail Business Public Company Limited (OR), alongside Mr. Racha U-Thaichan, Senior Executive Vice President, Global Business of OR, has officially launched the “OR Seeding the Future ASEAN Camp 2024.” This year’s theme, “Z-Leads: Business Game Changer,” was unveiled at the Multiverse Conference Room, 10th floor, Building C, Energy Complex.
Mr. Disathat stated: OR is hosting the youth camp for the eighth year to provide opportunities for undergraduate students from ASEAN member countries where OR operates, including Thailand, the Philippines, Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar. This year, 50 participants were selected based on their video submissions, which showcased their vision and self-introduction. This initiative aligns with OR’s policies and strategic goals for expanding its international business, with the aim of becoming a leading global brand. Participants in this program will gain valuable knowledge and international experience while building a network among young people across the ASEAN region. Additionally, it serves as a platform for identifying potential talent for employment within OR’s subsidiaries in the region, contributing to the development of a human resources network among AEC member countries. Overall, this initiative is part of a broader commitment to empowering youth and supporting their countries’ development for the future.
Additionally, participants will have the chance to visit OR and PTT Group’s business operations in Thailand and engage in internships with OR and its subsidiaries in their home countries. This hands-on experience will enhance their skills in critical thinking, creativity, and various competencies, while promoting cultural exchange and fostering strong youth networks among ASEAN nations.
The “OR Seeding the Future ASEAN Camp” not only demonstrates OR’s commitment to developing the potential of ASEAN youth but also plays a crucial role in strengthening community ties in the regions where OR operates.
