KBank launches AFTERKLASS Business KAMP Year 5: Upskilling and empowering young entrepreneurs through real-world experience

Open to youths nationwide, the program provides a platform to cultivate ideas and bring business plans to life. For the first time, young participants will receive seed funding to develop their first sales-generating product, as part of the “1st Dollar Stage”. Mr. Rawee Angthong, KBank Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications and Relations Department, said, “KBank, in collaboration with the Cultivation of Wisdom Foundation, is organizing the AFTERKLASS Business Kamp Year 5, titled “Young BIZ Accelerator Camp”. This camp is designed to upskill and empower young entrepreneurs, giving them the opportunity to develop their business ideas, create business plans and produce a minimum viable product (MVPs), which can be used to validate customer needs prior to developing a more fully featured product. This year marks the first time that participants will receive funding to develop their initial sales strategy (1st Dollar Stage). The highlight of the AFTERKLASS Business KAMP Year 5 is that the six finalist teams participating in the Acceleration Camp will receive scholarships to learn how to develop a business plan and launch their products to the market. Additionally, they will learn business management principles to generate actual sales and profits, enabling them to grow rapidly. These teams will refine their business plans to reach the 1st Dollar Stage, which focuses on generating actual sales to ensure that their business ideas can thrive in the current world. All participants will be equipped with the knowledge, skills and entrepreneurial mindset needed to thrive in the business world.
Participants must be members of the AFTERKLASS website and currently studying in Mathayom 3-6 or in the first year of an undergraduate degree or equivalent. Additionally, participants must not be older than age 21 on the closing date for applications. Those who have previously participated in the AFTERKLASS Business KAMP are also eligible to apply. Each team must consist of members with expertise in three key roles and responsibilities: 1. Business role: This team member is responsible for designing the business plan and sales strategy to generate real revenues and profits; 2) Design role: This team member is responsible for designing products that meet market needs in terms of features, aesthetics, and customer experience in using the business’s products or services; and 3) Product development role: This team member is responsible for developing, creating, and producing actual products, including operations, delivery, and quality control.
Mr. Rawee noted in closing that throughout the program, participants will gain knowledge and experience shared by senior executives of KBank and speakers in various fields. These experts will inspire innovative business ideas for youths to learn about the incubation process and acceleration for business growth and value creation. The focus is to enable the participants to acquire new knowledge and skills through real-world practice and experience, enhancing their readiness to live stable and sustainable lives.
