The University of Phayao and the Student Loan Fund have joined forces to bring the UP CSV project stadium to the INSEE Arsa Border Patrol Police Education Center in Ban Huai Pum.
On May 30th, 2024, Associate Professor Dr. Supakorn Pongbangpho, President of the University of Phayao, assigned Associate Professor Dr. Direk Teeraphuthon, Vice President for University Communications; Dr. Wuthichai Chairinkam, Vice President for Student Quality; Assistant Professor Suwit Panyawong, Vice President for Environment and Landscape; along with administrators, personnel from the Division of General Affairs, Division of Student Quality Development and Students with Disabilities, Division of Student Affairs, and volunteer students to welcome Mr. Chainarong Kajchapanan, the Student Loan Fund Manager, and his team. They delivered the stadium and sports equipment and were welcomed by Police Senior Sergeant Major Amnat Srisombat, the head teacher of the INSEE Arsa Border Patrol Police Education Center in Ban Huai Pum, along with teachers and students who received the sports field and educational equipment.
The event was held at the INSEE Arsa Border Patrol Police Education Center in Ban Huai Pum, Chiang Kham District, Phayao Province. The project involved various activities organized by the Division of Student Quality Development and Students with Disabilities, Division of Student Affairs, and volunteer students. These activities included marking the lines of the sports field and improving agricultural land. On May 29th, 2024, an activity was held where elders taught younger siblings how to make desserts, and brothers and sisters worked together to create and develop interesting learning and play areas. In addition, the Division of Buildings and Facilities collaborated with the Provincial Electricity Authority of Phayao Province to improve and maintain the solar cell system. This allowed teachers and students to fully utilize solar energy.
The UP CSV project, also known as “Creating Shared Value,” is an initiative organized by the University of Phayao in response to the royal initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. The project aims to support the development of children and youth in remote areas, in line with His Majesty’s wish to provide disadvantaged youth with opportunities for food security, nutrition, and overall health. The ultimate goal is to enhance their quality of life by providing access to education, healthcare, public utilities, and the opportunity to learn and develop life skills to their fullest potential.
