The Division of General Affairs at the University of Phayao recently hosted a Project with the Theme of “Good Health and Well-Being: BMI Challenge.”
Associate Professor Dr. Direk Teeraphuthon, Vice President for University Communications, presided over the opening of the “Good Health Well-Being: BMI Challenge” project at the University of Phayao. The event took place at the Active Learning Classroom and was attended by 30 participants, including Ms. Natthida Chaownan from the Division of General Affairs.
Mr. Adisorn Thurayot, a scientist in the field of Sports Science at the School of Science, University of Phayao, was the guest lecturer and provided valuable knowledge on proper exercise techniques. The participants also had their BMI and fat percentage measured at the beginning and end of the project.
The project was organized to promote and support personnel within the University of Phayao departments in changing behaviors to maintain good health and to promote health within the organization, aiming for better work efficiency and to become a sustainable healthy organization. This initiative is in line with the university policy that encourages all departments to promote good health within the organization through the “Good Health Well-Being: BMI Challenge.”
The University of Phayao’s Division of General Affairs pays attention to life balance and good health to create energy for work, supports changes in lifestyle habits, and aims to be a sustainable healthy organization. These efforts are aligned with the sustainable development goals outlined in SDG 3, which focuses on Good Health and Well-Being.
