Building Community Partnerships through UP CSV at Ban Sra School, Phayao Province
Associate Professor Supakorn Pongbangpho, President of the University of Phayao, along with other executives, visited the UP CSV project at Ban Sra School in the Chiang Muan District of Phayao Province. They were warmly welcomed by Mr. Narong Chailangka, Director of Ban Sra School, and teachers from schools in the network. The project, organized in collaboration with the Phayao Province area network and various faculties and divisions, aimed to provide computer support to students in order to enhance their learning skills. Additionally, the university conducted CANVA training activities for teachers. The School of Dentistry provided dental health check services, while the School of Education focused on activities aimed at improving the landscape and promoting morality, ethical behavior, and desirable character traits among students. The Division of Building Facilities organized waste separation activities, and the Division of Student Affairs coordinated Children’s Day activities for all children on National Children’s Day. Mr. Somrak Wongchai, the Former Deputy Director of Phayao Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, honored the project with his presence and offered praise.
This project aims to provide support and assistance to schools in remote areas that may struggle with accessing essential services, such as education and public health. Its goal is to enhance the quality of life for students in these regions. As part of this initiative, administrators from the University of Phayao recently visited Ban Tha Fa Tai School in the Chiang Muan District of Phayao Province. During their visit, they actively participated in landscaping activities and worked together with students from the School of Information and Communication Technology to paint the bathroom walls and buildings on the school grounds.
