KTC Announces Its Acceptance of Student Interns in the “KTC COOP” Project, Aiming to Prepare Youth for the Modern Working World.
KTC announces the acceptance of students from universities nationwide to participate in a cooperative education internship “KTC COOP” (KTC Cooperative Program). The initiative reinforces KTC’s position as a learning organization that is prepared to impart knowledge to the youth before they enter the digital-age workforce. KTC personnel, who have completed the Mentorship workshop, will serve as mentors, providing support throughout the internship.
Miss Piyasuda Kwaennonsee, Head of Human Resources ,”KTC” or Krungthai Card Public Company Limited, stated, “KTC focuses on continuously developing its ‘people.’ This involves enhancing the knowledge of personnel within the organization, who play a crucial role in driving the company forward. The focus is on nurturing both soft skills, vital for effective collaboration, and hard skills, which include job-related knowledge and abilities, logical analysis processes, and sharing valuable knowledge with all stakeholder groups, particularly the new generation of youth who represent the future of the nation. This initiative reinforces the spirit of KTC as a learning organization that values the ongoing process of sustainable development.”
“Recently, KTC organized the Cooperative Education Internship Program, known as ‘KTC COOP,’ to provide students with opportunities to apply their field of study knowledge in practical settings. This initiative aims to prepare youth for the new era of work while fostering an educational network among students from various institutions. Moreover, participants in the project will gain valuable insights into financial products and services. They will be guided by experienced KTC employees who have completed the ‘KTC Mentorship’ workshop, acting as mentors to teach, advise, and support throughout the internship. These mentors not only assist in getting students used to the organization’s culture but also facilitate effective collaboration among peers, and evaluate the internship and provide feedback to their respective universities. To date, over 60 students have successfully completed this internship pilot program.”
Students from universities nationwide who are interested can now apply to join the ‘KTC COOP’ project starting today. The project offers three training periods: the first semester, final semester, and summer semester.
