SCUP, arranged the competition “Science and Technology Invention Contest Emphasizing BCG” for junior high school students
The School of Science, University of Phayao, arranged the competition “Science and Technology Invention Contest Emphasizing BCG” for junior high school students, August 2023 The School of Science, the University of Phayao, together with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation, conducted the online project “National Science Week 2023.” The event was a competition focusing on the theme “Life Science, Environment and Society, and BCG (Bioeconomy, Circular economy, and Green economy),” and included related themes such as study, play, work, and careers using science and technology. The competition was for junior high school students, and was held over on August 17th to 19th, 2023, at the School of Science, University of Phayao.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Supakorn Pongbangpho, President of the University of Phayao, Asst. Prof. Dr. Direk Teeraputon, Vice President for University Communication, Asst. Prof. Suwit Panyawong, Vice President for Environment and Landscape, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Chayan Boonyarak, Dean of the School of Science, presided over the opening ceremony for the National Science Week 2023. The goal of the project was to disseminate scientific knowledge to students and the public, to showcase the potential of the School of Science, to demonstrate academic activities and achievement, and to provide a platform for exchanging knowledge and academic and research experiences.
