The Coalition for Innovation for Thai Youth
H.E. Mr. Jonathan Kings, New Zealand Ambassador to Thailand, New Zealand Embassy (5th from right), recently presided over the launch of the 1.5 + Innovative collaboration for Youth Advancement OBEC – NCUK by BAC , together with Mr. Ben Morley, Commercial Counselor of the British Embassy Bangkok, and DIT Thailand Country Director (6th from right). This programme has been developed via a partnership between the Office of the Basic Education Commission (OBEC), under the Ministry of Education and British Academic Centre (NCUK Study Centre Thailand). This is a significant milestone which provides tremendous opportunities for Thai students to maintain their studies in Thailand and achieve their Mathayom high school qualification while also having the flexibility of gaining access to New Zealand university qualifications and enjoying the convenience of studying closer to home.
Other key participants included executives from OBEC, Education New Zealandand British Academic Center. The event was held at the RSU Study Abroad Center, 15th floor, RSU Tower, Sukhumvit 31.
