“SCB 10X” organizes “SCB 10X BlockCamp 2022,” to help students upskill blockchain knowledge and develop their potential with SCB 10X and global partners
SCB 10X continues its “Moonshot Mission” aiming to establish new technological capabilities, with its Venture Builder team playing a crucial part in its efforts to generate exponential growth. SCB 10X has just announced that it is preparing to launch an “SCB 10X BlockCamp 2022” to provide high-potential students with the opportunity to participate in an intensive bootcamp designed to equip them with skills and build innovative projects to expand the frontier of the web3 ecosystem. Applicants will be divided into two categories: 1) Blockchain Software Engineer (Technical) and 2) Blockchain Product Owner (Business) based on their interests in building future products and technologies. The thirty finalists will spend six days in Cha-am District, Phetchaburi Province, from 31 July to 5 August 2022, where they will present their ideas and develop their potential with world-class blockchain innovation developers and industry experts, earn credentials, and be given the opportunity to work with SCB 10X. Speaking about the upcoming bootcamp, SCB 10X Head of Venture Builder, Polchompunoot Thongtaem Na Ayudhya revealed, “SCB 10X aims to continuously build new technological capabilities, with the Venture Builder (VB) team playing a role in driving exponential growth by providing necessary support to those with relevant knowledge and competency, or to entrepreneurs who have ideas for creating new start-up businesses from scratch. We are currently preparing to hold “SCB 10X BlockCamp 2022″ to provide opportunities for outstanding university students to join this capacity-building project to develop innovative products using blockchain. The camp will allow participants to develop specific skills and invent innovative products to expand the ecosystem frontier with SCB 10X’s blockchain experts and world-class partners through mentorship and consultation, whether in technology, blockchain software development, or business development.”
Students interested in blockchain technology will be able to participate in the “SCB 10X BlockCamp 2022” in two areas: 1. Blockchain Software Engineer (Technical), such as blockchain and full-stack development; and 2. Blockchain Product Owner (Business), such as product development, tokenomics design, and community building. Participants can choose to develop future products and technologies related to DeFi, NFT, the Metaverse, DAO, Web3 Social Graph, and Web3 Infrastructure. Thirty finalists will be selected to attend a free six-day bootcamp from 31 July to 5 August 2022 in Cha-am District, Phetchaburi Province. Participants will receive advice on developing innovations and attend knowledge-sharing sessions with leading gurus with expertise in the global blockchain industry, such as Nansen / Ape Board, Nebula Protocol, Edge Protocol, Impossible Finance, Speedboat, and Laika. They will be able to present ideas to the SCB 10X team and seek future employment opportunities with SCB 10X.
“SCB 10X expects that the “SCB 10X BlockCamp 2022″ event will contribute to the formation of a new generation of skilled professionals with the requisite potential and abilities to assist in the success of today’s fast advancing technology.” Polchompunoot concluded, “We also look forward to incorporating this initiative into the development of a community that will attract competent and professional developers who will contribute to the ecosystem for the development of innovations linked to blockchain technology in Thailand.”
