EDF Foundation receives support for Thai needy students’ education

The money was raised through Sasin Charity Golf 2021 event participated in by current and former EMBA students, various organizations and public individuals.
Established in 1987 and registered as a charitable organization No. 255 under the laws of Thailand, the EDF Foundation from 1988-2020 provided 390,473 scholarships to underprivileged students in 5,649 educational institutions around Thailand.
For its commitment to help the less fortunate children especially on education in Thailand for 33 years, the EDF Foundation received several recognitions, including 5 Star rating award for its Good Governance &Transparency and Financial Efficiency from Giving Back Association in 2016, Thailand NGO Awards 2012 for large organization category from the Rockefeller Foundation, Kenan Institute Asia and the Resource Alliance, Thai Morality Award from Association of the Union of the Disabled of Thailand in 2014 and Golden Kalapapruek Award from Khon Kaen University in recognition of the foundation’s continuous development of scholarship programs and educational development projects in 2013.
